(Think in the region of 1,000 Baht per pill - Though fakes are obviously cheaper) I know in my case, one of the reasons I got so wasted was because while we were passing the shakes around, only a couple of us were doing any serious drinking, so while at the time I though I was having about a 6th of what was bought, it was more like half :o) The Thai RedBull/M150/Communist Cow(Not it's real name, but you know energy drink with the evil cow skull on front) all give you a massive kick beyond anything you get in the west, a few bottles of them will keep you awake till dawn better then some black market stuff. So a few buckets gets you wired in ways your body isn't used to and the kick, combined with Mushrooms can produce some crazy results. I was told by a friend that when he was there he got chatting with the bar man and was told that ecstasy was also put into it. Within 30 minutes I was topless and dancing like an idiot. I was in the moment, now this was all good. Overwhelming senses of confidence and just wanted to dance. However...I understand the shroom part here with the hallucinations but would someone please tell me why when dancing on the beach I was so fixated on baking an imaginary cake on the beach for over four hours. I was looking up to the sky with a big glass bowl in front of me asking whoever was above to pass the ingredients down while in time with the music stomping my heels into the sand, while my left arm would sometimes wave over my head like an elephant's trunk. I remember parts of it. Anyone who was there on the night of January 1st 2010 would have probably seen me. I had pink shorts if that makes any sense. I saw many people stop and take pictures which would usually unsettle me a bit, but i kept going as if this cake I was making had to be finished. Very weird, but also very enjoyable. It is great fun that night and the night before. What is normally best to do is stay near the beach perhaps in a air con hostel (such as Luna C ) where you are surrounded with good people you got to know and also staff that can help you with alot of advice. I found it better to try the shakes on a quiet night, like a couple days before full moon and the best thing about being in the hostel is you know where to go when you are stranded without friends, as when you get there, you are greeted by english staff that understands how people feel and soon see your friends that can perk you up and start partying again. basically you shouldnt bother having a shake on the full moon party night.
